View an Electronic Document

From the Out Tray and Sent Items you may view the details of a document but you cannot make any changes to the document. For specific help on a particular field, press the F1 key on your keyboard while you are in that field. From the In Tray, you can complete an electronic document.

To view an electronic document from the Out Tray or Sent Items, perform the following steps:

  1. Click on the document in the Out Tray or Sent Items to select it.
  2. Click on the View button. The document screen is displayed.

  3. Click on each tab to view information
  4. To close the document, click on the Close button. The system will close the document and display the Out Tray (if the document was opened from the Out Tray) or  Sent Items (if the document was opened from Sent Items)

Notes

  • You cannot change the information in any field.
  • All documents in the Out Tray are Ready to Send to the ATO. Viewing a document allows you to see the information that will be submitted to the ATO. If you need to change some information in the document, you must move the document back to the In Tray.
  • All documents in Sent Items have been sent to the ATO. Viewing a document allows you to see the information that was sent to the ATO and the receipt number that the ATO allocated to that document. If you have any queries regarding the document, you must contact the ATO and quote the receipt number.
