Import Data to the In Tray
You can import information from certain
accounting software packages that use the Extensible MarkUp
Language(XML) format file. To do this click the Import
button in the In Tray.
No information may be imported for fields that are read-only
or automatically calculated. Read-only and automatic calculation
fields have a shaded background.
CAUTION
The information you import will overwrite any information
that currently exists in a corresponding field of the same
document stored in the In Tray.
You may only import data to a document
that is listed in the In Tray. The ECI Client
software will search for a matching document and ignore any
selection that exists. Documents are matched by their Document
Identification Number (DIN), Australian Business Number (ABN)
and Period dates.
To import data from a participating
accounting software application, perform the following steps:
- Click on the Import
button. The Import dialog
box is displayed:
